TB·Security teaches the most prestigious security courses worldwide

Thanks to a collaboration agreement with the Software Engineering Institute of US Carnegie Mellon University, TB·Security has become the first Spanish company authorized to provide the most prestigious courses on information security, and in the creation and management of Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERTs or CSIRTs). 

The traditional tools for addressing the information security of an organization are no longer enough: the new threats,   -more sophisticated, and numerous-   oblige us to think of security as an integral element and to manage it by means of a centralized team. TB·Security responds to this need by offering the most prestigious international training designed to address emerging risks to which  information and communications systems are exposed.

TB·Security proovides five courses:

• Fundamentals of Incident Handling (35 hours). -This course describes the key processes, policies, procedures and tools for incident handling and for the operation of an Incident Management Team (CERT). 
• Information Security for Technical Staff (35 hours).- This course describes the main threats and attacks over information systems and networks, and the tools and strategies for an effective protection, combining theory with practical exercises.
• Advanced Incident Handling (35 hours).- It provides experts on incident management with the adequate techniques and tools to detect and respond to current and emerging computer security threats and attacks that are targeted at a variety of operating systems and networks.
• Managing Computer Security Incident Response Teams (21 hours). - It provides information on processes, policies, and practices needed to effectively respond to incidents, while providing information on key aspects for the management of this type of teams.
• Creation of Incident Response Teams (7 hours). - This course provides a high-level overview of the key issues and decisions that must be addressed in establishing an incident handling team.
